When and how often do the courses meet, and how long do they run?
Each course meets once a week on Zoom for 60 minutes and runs for 14 weeks. Our instructor-led courses follow the Carnegie Mellon academic calendar for the First Day of Classes, including university breaks. The specific day and time for each course is listed on the course page when registration opens.

Do I have to attend the weekly Zoom? Are sessions recorded?
Attendance is not mandatory, but it is highly encouraged. Students who regularly attend the Zoom sessions tend to have the most success. We understand that you may occasionally need to miss class, so each session is recorded and made available to enrolled students afterward.

How much does each course cost, and what is included?
Each course costs $149. The fee includes weekly instructor-led Zoom sessions, recordings, and guided pacing. You'll also recieve access to the interactive online course materials and ebook which continues even after the instructor-led course ends.

Who can enroll? Do I need to be affiliated with Carnegie Mellon?
Anyone age 18 or older can enroll. You do not need to be a Carnegie Mellon student, employee, or alumnus, and you can participate from anywhere. They are separate from CMU's academic courses, so CMU faculty and staff tuition benefits do not apply.

What kind of credit or certificate can I receive for these classes?
These are non-credit courses for independent learners and do not provide CMU or university academic credit. Students who successfully complete a course are eligible to receive a certificate of completion; however, the certificate does not represent academic credit.
